FREE Workshop for teachers and youth workers!

In Massachusetts, we have over 12,000 children living in military families as part of the National Guard, the Active or Reserve Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines.

With ongoing Military Overseas Contingency Operations drawing service members away from home, many families are affected by deployments.  To help you learn how you can support the children in those families, Massachusetts Operation Military Kids invites you to a free workshop

Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from 6:30-8:30pm - in Leominster

At the Veterans’ Center - 100 West St.
Sponsored by the Blue Star Mothers

·    How long are deployments? (18 months for most)
·    The impacts of deployment
